Group Consultation
A. Classroom / Site Observation
- Observations with teacher/aide(s)/staff
- Analysis of current behavioral strategies, transitional and environmental observations and peer group interactions, i.e. negative peer leaders, scapegoats, isolates, etc.
- On site, ‘in-the-moment’ problem solving and behavioral suggestions presented
- Team meeting(s) for structural programming, analysis of current behavioral effectiveness, planning of alternate strategies and promote team collaboration
B. Individualized Staff Training
- Effective limit setting techniques presented
- Group Management techniques individualized to the age, developmental stage and/or disability/diagnosis discussed and developed
- Structuring the setting – environmental issues, successful inclusion, use of rules, rewards, consequences
